Coral Rock Reef

Coral Propagation in the aquarium industry

Welcome to my dream.

I have a dream that if each person maintaining a reef aquarium propagate corals, could have a nearly self-sufficient industry.

In my dream is to buy a coral aquarium store, someone else has spread and spread by itself and selling multiples of the same piece back to the tent so they can sell to others.

Stores that are heavily involved of this program could wholesale these corals to other stores. What is surprising is that this dream is so simple and yet it is still possible now only a dream.

Some corals are very easy to propagate, while others are more difficult. In my dream, all the corals that are purchased in order to propagate.

If you can learn to keep coral, then you can learn to grow, if it can grow so you can learn how to propagate, if you can propagate and then do it. Any person who propagates his coral is a credit to this wonderful industry.

The easiest way to propagate coral mushrooms, leather and fluffier. To propagate these corals is as simple as cutting a piece out of them and secure the pieces to a new piece of rock. The cut is the safest to a small piece of live rock with fishing line.

When propagating coral leather have found it more effective to ensure that the cut surface points to the direction of the flow of water instead to try to ensure the cut surface of the rock. There seems to be less likely to develop an infection and healthy uncut surface may attach to the rock faster then the injured side to heal faster if you allow adequate water flow. This also applies to Acropora even faster given a deer is the field of health is the point of contact.

When ever you are cutting a piece of coral to ensure that there is ample space around the court not be stung by surrounding the coral samples as will be the week at this time. Also, beware of fish like angels can collect in the damaged coral.

Do not be a coward! Many people love the idea of the spread of coral, but was afraid to cut them because they believe it will hurt it. Corals do not feel pain as we do so be brave and remember that what they are doing for the good of the species.

Remember that you can not always win, but you realize that when you get better at it and practice it will be rare for you to fail in their attempts to spread.

big warning, never cut a mushroom, soft and fluffy or out of the water anemone. It is best for you to cut submerged in a shallow pan of water in your tank. We learned the hard way one day my brother was cutting a mushroom coral out of water when he sprayed his eyes with poisonous neurotoxins. The pain was unbearable and we spent all night from doctors, hospitals to eye specialists.

To propagate corals is only a matter or cut with a hacksaw or better yet, on the prohibition of the saw. Again, leave space around the cut of it, do not have to deal also with competing neighbors. After hard corals has small towel dry can merits and glue to a larger rock safely secure. Allow the glue to set before returning to water.

Have no fear manage the coral or less because they are really very difficult, after all that is built to ensure tons of water poured over them in the form of a wave. Most Coral can be safely removed from the water for a period of time also, for example, the low tide on a natural coral reef.

I suggest you bear at least 14 times per hour water flow in tanks that want to propagate corals and pay attention to the levels of iodine. Maintain a level of iodine 0.06pp to decrease the spread bacterial infections among new corals.

Before handling any coral is important that you know what it is to avoid manipulation of a coral venomous bite me hands as the fire coral Millepora. Wear gloves when handling live rock and coral. Corals are closely related to jellyfish and as with jellyfish, some are more poisonous than others.

If you are ever bitten by a coral or fish the best thing to do is put them under hot tap water, which break down the neurotoxins.

Anemones can also spread like a fungus, but I rarely recommend it. An anemone is a beautiful display when combined with clown fish, but not always successful in the long term. I suggest you try an anemone in order to see how long you can maintain in the first place, if you find one of the few that can keep them long term, give it a go multiplication of insurance. If you do long-term spread, then I think it is their responsibility to share their experience with as many people as possible. There must be something you are doing that others are not. This is a topic that will really experience in the coming years. Anemone is common to divide themselves in the villages of the tank.

At present the propagation of corals is the most realistic approach on corals breeding. Corals can be bred in captivity and light cycles of the moon and the temperatures can be used as a trigger. The problem with farming is that coral spawn mass that choke most systems. If you were to race coral would be a fairly long period of time until you have samples ready to sell. When often propagate will be ready in just three months.

It is not the intention of this article to show you the complete techniques for propagating corals, but to tell which is something you should consider doing, I do mean you! The Internet is full of information and techniques set out in its way to becoming a farmer Enviro-fan coral. Read more articles and get a few ideas before attempting the first. Remember that each person will tell you what works for them, this does not mean that there is a definitive or wrong way to do so.

Please do not let the possible failure of fail to succeed in this. The only way to fail is not to try. Even if the first go wrong I encourage you to keep trying until you are doing with such confidence that you'll wonder why everyone does not. I'll tell you now that there are people that spread of coral and that some people feared. The service you are doing for your fans is too big not to.

Another simple method that can help is to ask every time you are in an aquarium store if any material propagated coral. If they do encourage you to consider buying any option wild. The fact that you are asking retailers to reinforce the widespread coral is something that people want. Imagine if everyone asked all the shops were a, retailers want to be doing anything to be able to provide a requested product.

I have been educating people with a passion for many years about the benefits and realities of this dream. I would love to see more people like you enroll in this dream. No matter how long you have a tank or not, it is never too late to start. You can make a difference! Please share this idea with many people as you can until one day this dream come true.

I have also published a DVD about the sea or salt water aquarium has an extensive section on coral available target = "_new"> http://www.exclusivefishfilms.com I think that has helped thousands of fans and enthusiasts around the world! Go and check it out!

Good luck and enjoy

What kind of fish / coral reef in a 75gal (Marina) Tank?

What kind of fish / corals that go well together in an aquarium 75gal reef. It is not set up yet, just looking for ideas. Yes, there is live rock, sand filter style sink.

Some corals good resistance to new series are companies polyps Green Star (separating too quickly), mushrooms, bubble corals are fun but bird to feed them each day or so, Favia is good, mainly because they can withstand poor water quality than most other corals. Fishing / lawnmower blenny (where to get some of an outbreak of algae, which usually occur at some time or another) clown fish if you like. If you really want a taste just get a post in his tank is a bit on the small side. There are a ton of things you can get, but go slowly and do plenty of research before buying things. Trust me it helps to know what kinds of things need care before you buy because a lot of the EPA are there to make money and do not necessarily care if he lives or dies.
