Bristleworms How to remove a salt water tank
Bristleworms a kind of worms are multiplying very fast, that usually infest aquariums, salt water tanks and create problems for other aquatic life living in the water tank. It is surprising to learn that these bristleworms can grow as long as twenty-four inches. These worms find a way to survive in salt water tanks by feeding off the leftover food and crustaceans small. Although people try to catch these worms are very misleading, not at all easy to catch them so easily. Bristleworms move extremely quick and fast, ideal can only be seen in the dark with the help of a red light. Although it is a very difficult process to identify brislteworms and eliminate easily, you should take the necessary measures that practically can take to try to eradicate early once they are aware of the symptoms or signs of early of its existence.
There are certain steps that are necessary to continue to escape in a saltwater tank bristleworms here they are:
1. Determine if bristleworms are actually present in the saltwater tank, check your tank at night. Beware of rocks and cracks in saltwater tank when there is absolute darkness, or by use of a flash of red light around that area. You would have to buy a red bulb to put in a flashlight I would be able to buy any hardware or electrical store near you.
2. Try to get a small plastic storage container that has a lid with good light that can be fixed. Make sure you have the container that is opaque and not entirely transparent to the food in the container is completely invisible for bristleworms to stay inside.
3. Insert a small amount of meat is thoroughly cooked shrimp, raw fish eggs, meat scallops, clams, mussels meat or pieces of raw fish that is edible in the container. You can put any type of foods mentioned above or even to a mixture of some of the food. It is not necessary to put large amounts of food, only one size of a pea is more than enough for bristleworms.
4. Drill holes in containers that are large enough for those who bristleworms go through them. Make sure the holes in the form an "x" in the form of a cross and to remove any type of plastic that is cut.
5. Immerse the container in the salt water and let it talk to fill with water. Make sure the tank is completely sealed with a lid and then drop it on the location where the bristleworms with red color light before.
6. Leave container a day like that, and check the next day. In all probably disappear bristleworms to eat to eat meat or fish that had been kept in the container, as the edges of the holes are sharp exit would not be able to leave. If you repeat the process often is easy to eradicate the worms.

Salt water and lighting corals and inverts?
I have an eclipse 20 gallon (long) saltwater tank. My tank is still new, but I have 25 lbs of live rock, a maid, and a clown fish. The water parameters are fine. Anyway, My eclipse of the hood has two 24 inch t8 fluorescent lights that are 20 watts each. Is it better to replace these bulbs with actinic light bulbs or is it better to buy the upgrade kit for the eclipse hood. The adjustment of the light is 24-inch light that is 65watts 50/50. The kit is like $ 65 plus tax and shipping. My ideal tank would include the maiden, the clown fish, fire or goby fish, corals and low light as mushrooms and zoanthids (?), and a fire shrimp and cleaner shrimp (but I think the 20 gallon is too small for 2 shrimp). Also I would like some crabs and snails as well. I want to keep the bell for Eclipse T5S not fit. Neither do I have to go with the upgrade or t8s brighter. What best way? The conversion cost about $ 40 more than buying new bulbs.
I would like to see in the retro. This permits better PAR to the bottom of the tank forward to not allow more light to reach your corals .. Not sure if you can get a better grade T8s as 10000k and acitnic K or not (but I do think you can) if you can may be able to maintain low and mushrooms Zoas light just ...
